Mini Tuo Cha Puerh Compressed Black Tea
Twinings Finest Loose Teas - These small compressed teas come in varying shapes, most of which resemble a birds nest and are of a variety of Puerh called Tuo Cha, which was a highly traded commodity in the early 1900s. This celebrated tea initially delivers soft plummy, earthy tones, followed by wisps of soft, sweet cherry.

The rich earthy flavours are perfect with meaty and spicy flavours and surprisingly, with chocolate!
Unwrap and use one Tou Cha per person or share one for a slightly milder flavour. Puerh tea can be steeped for as long and as many times as you
like, slowly developing deep and rich flavours the longer the steep. We suggest allowing 2 minutes as a starting point. You’ll notice that each steeping produces a subtly different flavour.
100% Puerh Black Tea
When Thomas Twining opened his shop on London's Strand in 1706, little did he know that we would still be supplying some of the world's finest tea to this date. Just like Thomas, our passion still burns brightest for loose leaf, the ultimate for the tea enthusiast to savour the subtle flavours of the freshest and finest teas and infusions.
This one doesn't 'sock it to ya' like some pu erh teas but is surpisingly light for it's type. Plesant dryness left in the mouth after it's earthy, woodyness. I only really got 3 brews out of it though (sigh). OK, 4 cups rating then...
