Temperley for Twinings Scarf
To celebrate the launch of our new and improved blend, The Earl Grey, Twinings has teamed up with renowned British fashion designer, Alice Temperley, to create an exclusive, bespoke Temperley for Twinings print.
Designed on beautilful rough silk, the scarf perfectly echoes the fluidity of the waves, both in its natural movement and the nautical-inspired design. The intricate print also features Earl Grey’s key ingredient, the bergamot plant and oil, which Charles Grey II believed gave the blend its special and unique taste. And, in homage to the blend’s oriental origins, Temperley also drew inspiration from the historic era of the Ming Dynasty, known for its ornate and iconic blue and white porcelain, and well-crafted tea caddies, giving this exclusive print its beautiful blue colour scheme.
The Temperley for Twinings limited edition scarf is limited to just 1000 making them rare and exquisite.

“I’m very excited to be working with Twinings during our 10th anniversary year. Twinings has a rich British heritage, and the story of the origins of Earl Grey tea translated beautifully into the print we created.”
As a homage to the home of Earl Grey, Temperley drew inspiration from the iconic and historic era of the Ming Dynasty, known globally for its ornate, beautifully designed blue and white porcelain and well-crafted tea caddies, which inspired the cobalt colour scheme of this luxury scarf.
