2012 Darjeeling Tea Collection

Twinings is delighted to present a collection of four very special teas.

 
Two are First Picked, First Flush Darjeeling teas from the Chamong and Upper Namring tea gardens. Slow grown on uniquely high elevations and produced with skill and care that makes these teas truly beautitful. 
 
Both teas have been first picked by hand, exclusively for Twinings.
 
To compare and contrast we have selected two other teas from the Darjeeling province, a First Flush from the Badamtam Tea Garden and a Second flush Darjeeling tea.

As always, please use freshly drawn water. When boiling, remove the heat just as the water starts a rolling boil. Leave to stand for a moment.

We suggest using 1 heaped teaspoonful per cup (we would recommend always using a teapot). Steep your tea for 3 or 4 minutes as this will help release the delicate colours and unique flavours from the Darjeeling leaf.

The liquor should be a golden caramel in colour, you will notice that each Darjeeling tea will have its own unique taste complexity, and character depending on the tea garden it originates from
